Yay for Meal Ministries!

Thanks to Sarah and Amy for the bountiful dinner of yummy chicken and potatoes! The strawberries that accompanied dinner were spectacular and Jaakan demolished the watermelon into her face, clothes and the counter.

The Saga of the Double Plunge!

After graciously doing the majority of the dishes, Randy and Tim arrived at an insurmountable road block, when both sinks clogged simultaneously and would only drain into one another.




My truly handy husband rushed to their aid.



But his single handed plunging was not enough, and so the Double Plunge was brought to life.



Finally after evaluating the drainage opinions of the entire room, Randy T. laid hands on the sink and gunk and water drained away.



Possibly this ending disappointed the several men who were hoping for a late night Home Depot run and indepth plumbing problem solving mission.

Thanks anyway, for the smiles, laughs and plunger humor!

Dinner with the O Line

After the defeat at Mission Bowl 2008, the Offensive Line (coached by my lovely husband) joined us for celebratory anyway dinner of 3 pans of Mac and Cheese, 1 crockpot of Chili, 2 loaves of Bread, 1 bowl of Salad and a ton of cheese, butter and sour cream!




After 1 ton of men resting on the Love Sac, it was Apple Pie and Ice Cream time.



While the rest of us lounged in the living room, Randy T got busy washing the dishes white man's style.



Soon Tim Nieh came to be helpful, but apparently my kitchen was not meant for two sets of such broad shoulders.
